To best serve the people we represent, citizen's access to government is imperative. This website allows you to track legislation, perform research on the constitution, statutes and regulations of our state, and watch live streaming video of the activities in the House chamber.

The South Carolina House of Representatives consists of 124
members elected November 7, 2006, to serve until Monday after the General
Election in November of 2008. The House of Representatives is
currently made up of 73 Republicans and 51 Democrats. Pursuant to Section 2-1-10
of the 1976 Code, amended by Act 991 of 1974, Act 173 of 1981 and Act 312 of
1982, beginning with the 1974 General Election, members of the House of
Representatives are elected from 124 single member districts.
